Support that fits around your life
TELL Psychology offers telehealth sessions for adolescents (12+) and adults across NSW, by video through Microsoft Teams or by phone. You can attend from home, work or wherever you feel most comfortable, with no travel or waiting rooms.
Each session is 50 minutes and tailored to you. Together we'll work at a pace that feels safe, using evidence-based approaches such as CBT, TF-CBT and EMDR within a trauma-informed framework.
ACCESSIBLE CARE
Pathway To Support
Medicare (Better Access)
With a Mental Health Treatment Plan and referral from your GP, psychiatrist or paediatrician, you may be eligible for a Medicare rebate on up to 10 sessions per calendar year.
WorkCover
For approved workplace injury claims in NSW. Sessions are billed directly to the insurer once your claim is approved. Please have your claim number ready.
CTP
For people injured in a motor vehicle accident with an approved Compulsory Third Party claim. Fees are billed to the insurer with prior approval
Victim Services
For people eligible under the NSW Victims Support Scheme. Approved counselling sessions are billed directly to Victim Services at no cost to you.
BILLING
Fees & Billing Options
Private Billing
Sessions are $235 for 50 minutes. Payment is made by card through our secure booking system before each appointment. If you have private health insurance with extras cover, you may be able to claim a rebate. Check with your fund.
Medicare Rebate
With a valid Mental Health Treatment Plan and referral, you may receive a Medicare rebate of $101.55 per session. Your out-of-pocket cost is $133.45 per session.
Insurer & Funded Services
For WorkCover, CTP and Victim Services clients, fees are billed directly to the insurer or scheme once your claim is approved. Please provide your claim or reference number before your first session.
FEE GUIDELINES
Understanding Our Fees
The Australian Psychological Society (APS) recommended fee for a 50-minute psychology session is $330. TELL Psychology's fee is set below this, at $235 per session.
Cancellations: please give at least 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule. Sessions cancelled with less notice, or missed, will be charged the full fee, and Medicare rebates can't be claimed for missed sessions.
Payment: fees are paid by card through our secure booking system before each appointment.
Rebates: Medicare and private health rebates depend on your eligibility and cover. We recommend checking with Medicare or your health fund before your first session.
